Leading the 2024 Election Campaign

In the 2024 U.S. presidential election, Marc Zell led a historic campaign that mobilized approximately 300,000 Israeli-Americans to vote – an unprecedented record and double the number from 2020. About 90% voted for Trump. "We had tens of thousands of votes in each of the swing states. They decided the results in those places, thereby contributing to Trump's return to the presidency," Zell explains. Trump's campaign team reached out to him to secure maximum votes, and the results were decisive in key states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Georgia.

Marc Zell has served as Chairman of Republicans Overseas Israel since 1991 and works to strengthen the relationship between Israel and the United States under Republican Party values. He maintains close relationships with senior officials in Washington, including members of Congress, the Senate, the White House, and the Trump administration, and serves as the party's primary voice in Israel to the Israeli media and public.

Spokesperson and Advocacy

Marc Zell is a regular commentator in Israeli and international media on American politics, U.S.-Israel relations, and foreign policy. He is frequently interviewed on television, radio, and in print, consistently presenting the Republican Party's and Trump administration's positions to the Israeli public. During times of tension, Zell works to clarify President Trump's positions and present the shared interests of both nations.

Lobbying Activities and Community Protection

Marc Zell engages in international lobbying at the highest levels, representing governments, organizations, and individuals on complex matters. Among other activities, he has worked in recent years to protect the Druze community in Syria following an appeal from Sheikh Mowafaq Tarif, the spiritual leader of the Druze community in Israel. Zell worked to enlist the support of the Trump administration and Congress to protect the Druze from attacks by Sunni militias. "This is a real massacre. We will act to ensure the safety of our Druze brothers and sisters," Zell declared. This activity combines his role as a lobbyist with his commitment to Republican Party values and the protection of threatened communities in the region.

Additionally, Zell represented Republika Srpska in lobbying activities with the U.S. administration, working to strengthen relations between the Republic and the Trump administration and to lift American sanctions. The work included meetings with senior diplomats appointed by President Trump and achieving sanctions relief for the leadership team. This lobbying effort received extensive coverage in international media, including The New York Times, and demonstrated Zell's ability to manage complex diplomatic campaigns at the highest international level.

Fighting the BDS Movement

Marc Zell has led several significant lawsuits against the Israel boycott movement (BDS). In 2019, he filed a lawsuit against Airbnb that led to the company reversing its decision to remove listings of Jews in Judea and Samaria. In 2022, he was a key member of the legal team that sued Ben & Jerry's for boycotting Israel. In September 2025, he filed a defamation lawsuit in federal court against a former UN Special Rapporteur who disseminated false reports about Israel.
